Tree Description:

Horse chestnuts are not native to our area, they were introduced from Southeast Europe. Horse chestnuts have white flowers in May that are 6 inches or more in height. The flowers turn into spiky green balls. Inside the seed pods is an inedible fruit that should not be eaten by animals or humans.
